山を登る電車に乗って、ユングフラウヨッホの、ヨーロッパ最高地点の鉄道駅まで行きます。一面に見えるスキー場では、多くの幅広い年齢層の人々が、至るところでスキーを楽しんで過ごしていたことが印象的でした。年を重ねても、普通に軽く、雪山を降りていく人々の姿を見て、自分たちでアクティビティーを楽しむ文化が自然と育まれていることを感じました。
A train ride up the mountain takes you to the Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe. Seeing so many people of all ages spending time on the ski slopes, visible on all sides, enjoying skiing everywhere was impressive. Seeing people of all ages going down the snowy slopes made me realise that a culture of enjoying activities on their own is naturally fostered here.
