ザルツブルクは、各所で世界的な音楽祭が催される街ですが、山を越えて多くの美しい湖とつながり、広く見渡せる街というよりも、起伏で入り組み、形作られた街並みだったことが印象的でした。

Salzburg hosts world-class music festivals in various parts of the country. I was struck by its connection to many beautiful lakes across the mountains and its undulating, intricate, and shaped city rather than its broad view.
