メトロや電車に乗っていると、私がパリで暮らしているように思われたようで、行く先々で、ご家族に電車の行き先を尋ねられたり、橋の周りで走り回って遊ぶ少年たちに写真を撮ってほしいと頼まれたりしました。様々な人々と、自然と、にこやかに会話ができる懐の深さを感じられる街でした。

Everywhere I went, families would ask me where the train was going, and boys running around the bridges would ask me to take their photos. It was a city where I could feel the depth of nostalgia of conversing with people from all walks of life in a natural and friendly way.
