オアフ島西側のビーチを歩いていたら、犬が２匹、一緒についてきたので、しばらく一緒に、夕日が沈むまで、お散歩していました。私が波際でチャプチャプしている間も側を歩いていました。犬と一緒に海を眺めていたら、ロコのサーファーが、サーフボードを抱えて歩いてきて、海へと一気に漕ぎ出しました。このハワイへの旅は、私が建築を志すきっかけになった旅になりました。
I was walking along the beach on the west side of Oahu when two dogs followed me. We walked together for a while until sunset. They walked beside me while I was playing in the surf. As I gazed out to sea with the dogs, a surfer approached me with a surfboard and paddled out. This trip to Hawaii inspired me to pursue architecture.
